About Me

Hi, I’m Sarah, the owner, entrepreneur, and homeschooling mama behind June & Lu Fabrics. I started sewing for my children 7 years ago and just couldn’t stop. I love European fabrics and knew you would too (especially if you didn’t have to pay customs each time you wanted a gorgeous new fabric!) I opened June & Lu Fabrics in 2021 and hope to share my passion for sewing with you and your family.

My grandmother is the inspiration behind my shop name. She was the greatest woman I ever knew and her name was June. My last baby’s name is Lucca and my grandma was so happy to meet all four of my children. She adored Lucca and I would always say “oh cute, little June and Lu.”

One of my favorite parts of being a small fabric shop owner is fulfilling your orders. I love hand labeling each fabric and bundling them up with a bow. Now each time I send a package of fabric out and see your tags on finished garments it reminds me of my grandmother, in the best way possible. I hope each order brings you as much joy as it brings to me.

I’m married to my best friend and we currently live in Central Tennessee.
